Galvanize 2.0 on Platte Street, across from Denver Beer Co., was designed by Open Studio Architecture and is Galvanize’ second location after its successful opening of the Golden Triangle space, which is home to about 130 companies. The Platte Street location was selected for the original Galvanize, but the founders were anxious to get started and opted for renovating an existing building in Golden Triangle. Strong demand for its G-School and collaborative office space model, presented opportunity for this second location, a third in Boulder, and several more around the nation currently in the planning phases. The raw steel structure is 78,000 sq. ft. with a rooftop deck and a ground level space for a restaurant. Platte Street had already become a vibrant area; the addition of this structure has added even more energy and design to the exciting block.
