Ruby Hill Park / by JC Buck

It's been an ugly few days here in Denver, a tough transition after being in Southern California for much of the month. I thought I would pull an image from the archives that resembles today with the sun finally breaking through. This is the Ruby Hill Pavillon designed by Alm2s.

"The pavilion design features a series of roof blades that fan out and up to embrace the sky, in response to the celestial theme of the park design. The blades are arrayed around a solar oculus, using a simple 30 degree grid but in a complex pattern of progressively larger and overlapping blades, creating a functional yet visually stunning architectural expression" - Alm2s

Have a great weekend!
