Mal d’Afrique is a fine art photography collection created in Tanzania’s Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks. Captured during a long-anticipated 2022 safari, these images explore the emotional imprint Africa leaves on the soul. The collection was born not only from the wonder of the experience itself but from the ache that followed, what the French call Mal d’Afrique: a deep, ineffable longing to return.

Through nostalgic landscapes and surreal, intimate portraits of iconic African wildlife, the series invites viewers to revisit our shared origin, where the breath of the land still echoes with ancient memory.
